- 1 cup brown sugar, packed

- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup edible cookie dough (for filling and topping)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour three 9-inch round cake pans.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Cream together the softened butter, sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, alternating with milk.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Divide the batter evenly among the prepared cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool the cakes in pans for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Spread edible cookie dough between layers and on top of the cake, decorate with additional chocolate chips.
- Slice and serve.
Notes
Let the cake layers cool completely before assembling for best texture. Refrigerate cookie dough if too sticky to spread.
