Scale
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the softened butter with shredded cheddar cheese until well blended.
  3. Whisk together the flour, cayenne pepper, salt, black pepper, and paprika in a separate bowl.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture to the cheese-butter mixture and mix until a dough forms, adding cold water if needed.
  5. Roll the dough into a log shape about an inch in diameter and cut it into small pieces.
