Description

Cranberry Brie Bites are a delightful appetizer combining creamy brie cheese with tart cranberry sauce, all baked in a crispy shell. Perfect for holiday gatherings or party snacks!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 8-ounce tube crescent roll dough
  • 6 ounces Brie Cheese
  • 1/4 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)
  • 1 15-count package frozen mini fillo shells
  • 1 3-ounce package of brie cheese
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 Tablespoons white granulated sugar
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray cooking spray onto a mini muffin pan.
  2. Mix the cranberry sauce and orange marmalade in a bowl until well combined. Set aside. Slice the brie cheese into small squares and set aside.
  3. Roll out the crescent roll dough and cut into 24 squares, pressing each into the muffin pan molds.
  4. Fill each mini muffin with a cube of brie, 1 tablespoon of the cranberry-orange mixture, and a pinch of chopped pecans.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pan. Garnish with rosemary.
  6. For fillo cups, preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Arrange fillo shells on a cookie sheet.
  7. In a saucepan, combine cranberries, water and sugar, bringing to a boil. Reduce heat and stir until cranberries pop, then set aside.
  8. Distribute brie in fillo shells and bake for about 5 minutes until melted. Top with cranberries and garnish with rosemary if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Feel free to leave the rind on the brie for added flavor.
  • Consider alternating toppings for variety, like adding different nuts or herbs.
  • These bites can be made ahead of time and baked just before serving for best results.
