- 2 boneless chicken breasts sliced
- 200 grams noodles (lo mein or spaghetti)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
- 2 green onions chopped
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the chicken into thin strips and prepare all ingredients.
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, water, and cornstarch until smooth.
- Heat oil in a pan and cook the chicken until golden and fully cooked.
- Add vegetables if using and stir-fry for a few minutes.
- Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir until it thickens.
- Add cooked noodles and toss everything together until evenly coated.
- Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds, then serve hot.
