Description

Grandma’s Cinnamon Roll Cake is a deliciously moist cake that combines the flavors of cinnamon rolls in an easy-to-make dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup cream cheese frosting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate large bowl, whisk the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until smooth.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared baking dish.
  6. Mix the brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl, and sprinkle half over the batter.
  7. Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the swirl mixture. Swirl gently with a knife.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the cake cool, then add cream cheese frosting or other toppings if desired.
