Description
A delicious Pepper Jelly Cream Cheese Dip that combines sweet and spicy flavors, perfect for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 10-ounce jar pepper jelly (medium heat)
- 1 8-ounce block cream cheese (full-fat, softened)
- 1/2 cup green onions (chopped and divided)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (sharp)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a shallow 9-inch pie plate or a similar ceramic baking dish.
- Gently warm the pepper jelly in a microwave-safe bowl in 10-second bursts until it loosens up and becomes pourable. Set aside.
- In your pie dish, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Mix until smooth and well-combined.
- Stir half of the chopped green onions (¼ cup) into the cream cheese mixture and spread it evenly across the bottom of the dish.
- Pour the loosened pepper jelly over the cream cheese layer, spreading it gently to cover the entire surface.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until heated through and small bubbles form around the edges.
- Top with remaining ¼ cup green onions and serve immediately while warm with crackers, toasts, or vegetables.
Notes
- For extra heat, use hot pepper jelly.
- This dip is best served warm and fresh out of the oven.
