Description

A festive and colorful dessert perfect for summer celebrations, combining flavors of cherry and blue raspberry in a poke cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 Box White Cake Mix (plus required ingredients)
  • 3 Ounces Cherry Jello
  • 3 Ounces Blue Jello
  • 1 Cup Boiling Water (divided)
  • 8 Ounces Whipped Topping (Cool Whip)
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Prepare the white cake mix according to package instructions; bake in a baking pan.
  2. While the cake bakes, dissolve cherry jello in 1/2 cup boiling water and blue jello in the other 1/2 cup.
  3. After baking, poke holes in the cooled cake using a wooden spoon’s handle.
  4. Pour cherry jello into some holes and blue jello into others without mixing.
  5. Chill the cake for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle red, white, and blue decorations before serving.
