Description
Salted Caramel Pretzel Cheesecake Balls are a delightful treat that combines the creamy texture of cheesecake with the salty crunch of pretzels, all drizzled with luscious caramel and chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3/4 cup salted caramel sauce, divided
- 1 1/2 cups crushed pretzels
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup white chocolate, melted
- 1/2 tsp flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Beat the softened cream cheese in a mixing bowl until completely smooth.
- Add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, then beat again until creamy and fluffy.
- Stir in the graham cracker crumbs until the mixture becomes thick and easy to scoop.
- Chill the filling for 15 to 20 minutes if it feels too soft to handle.
- Scoop about 1 1/2 tablespoons of filling and flatten it slightly in your hand.
- Add a small spoonful of salted caramel sauce to the center, then wrap the filling around it and roll into a ball.
- Place each ball on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 30 minutes until firm.
- Mix the crushed pretzels with the melted butter in a shallow bowl.
- Roll each chilled cheesecake ball in the pretzel mixture, pressing gently so the coating sticks.
- Drizzle the balls with melted dark chocolate and melted white chocolate.
- Spoon or drizzle the remaining salted caramel over the tops.
- Finish with flaky sea salt and chill again for 15 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a sweeter flavor, increase the amount of salted caramel sauce.
- Make sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easier mixing.
