- 5–7 pound brisket, trimmed
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 cup BBQ sauce, divided
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- Parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- To your slow cooker add the brisket.
- Add in the beef broth, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Over the meat sprinkle the smoked paprika, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic salt, and black pepper.
- Pour over ½ cup of the BBQ sauce.
- Cook on low for 8-10 hours until the brisket is tender.
- Optional: Remove the brisket and place on a foil-lined baking sheet, brush with remaining BBQ sauce and broil until a brown crust is formed.
- You can slice the brisket against the grain for nice slices or with the grain for a more pulled brisket style.
- Serve!
