Description

Delicious chicken burgers featuring white cheddar cheese and fresh spinach, perfect for a tasty meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Olive oil, for cooking
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or additional cheese

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
  2. Form the mixture into 4 evenly-sized patties, ensuring they’re firm to hold their shape during cooking.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet.
  4. Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and have a golden-brown crust.
  5. Once done, transfer the patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
  6. Build your burgers by placing the chicken patties on buns with your choice of toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or extra cheddar cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Make sure the chicken is fully cooked before serving.
  • Feel free to customize your toppings to suit your taste.
  • These burgers can be grilled instead of pan-fried for a different flavor.
