Description
Delicious chicken burgers featuring white cheddar cheese and fresh spinach, perfect for a tasty meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil, for cooking
- 4 burger buns
- Optional toppings: lettuce, tomato slices, or additional cheese
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped spinach, shredded cheddar, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until everything is well incorporated.
- Form the mixture into 4 evenly-sized patties, ensuring they’re firm to hold their shape during cooking.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Once hot, add the chicken patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and have a golden-brown crust.
- Once done, transfer the patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Build your burgers by placing the chicken patties on buns with your choice of toppings, such as lettuce, tomato, or extra cheddar cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- Make sure the chicken is fully cooked before serving.
- Feel free to customize your toppings to suit your taste.
- These burgers can be grilled instead of pan-fried for a different flavor.
